No one can join or become a part of the body of Christ until God the Father instructs or grants it. It is revealed in John 6:44 and verse 65 that only those whom the Father calls and draws out of Satan's world, which is held captive by his deception (Revelation 12 9; see also 1 John 5:19), can come to Christ now.

If your mind can grasp this vital revelation of knowledge, then the answer to your question can clearly be understood.

The Apostle Paul makes this revelation of truth very plain (1 Corinthians 12:18; see also Romans 12:4-5). It is God who decides who will become members of the body of Christ (Acts 2:47).

Notice how God added members to the Church. It is the Holy Spirit which puts members into the Church of God (Acts 1:8). What is the Holy Spirit? It is the very power of God.

Understand this vital point! By the receiving of God's Holy Spirit one is immersed and placed into the Church and becomes a member of the one body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). In the one body of Christ a member becomes a begotten son of God (Romans 8:14).
