He Was God's End-Time Messenger

Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong met the majority of the world leaders (including these shown below), and fulfilled the prophecy of Revelation 10:11

Egypt's President Anwar Sadat

The Philippines President
Ferdinand Marcos

Japan's Prime Minister Masayoshi Ohira

Egypt's Prime Minister
Hosni Mubarak

Kenya's President Daniel arap Moi

Ethiopia's Emperor Haile Selassie

The end-time voice of God's messenger has cried out (amid a world full of religious confusion) the plain truth of the true gospel of the Kingdom of God. The Bible reveals, he was given the work of preparing the right way for the glorious second coming of Jesus Christ.

Now notice these Scriptures:

"Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming, says the Lord of hosts" (Malachi 3:1).

"The voice of one crying in the wilderness; Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God" (Isaiah 40:3). "For this is he of whom it is written: Behold, I send My messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you." (Matthew 11:10).

"Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!" (Isaiah 62:10) "And one shall say, Heap it up! Heap it up! Prepare the way, take the stumbling block out of the way of My people" (Isaiah 57:14).

"And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" (Matthew 11:14-15) "Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, happy are you if you do them. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whoever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me" (John 13:16-17, 20).

"Jesus answered and said to them, this is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent" (John 6:29). "He who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." (Matthew 12:30). "We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain" (II Corinthians 6:1). Do we understand the impact of what these Scriptures are saying?

Our Savior Jesus Christ said, "He who receives whoever I send receives Me." If we do not receive whoever Christ sends, we will be in grave trouble of committing the sin of resisting the will and work of God. We must always be working together with Christ in doing the work of God.

Remember, the grace of God only remains with us as long as we endure in doing the work of God. If we are not doing the work of God, then we would have received the grace of God in vain and our house will be left to us desolate. "See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Matthew 23:38-39).

He Was God's Ambassador for World Peace

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall
be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9).

In the twentieth century, the great Creator God revealed His power. Yet, most in the twentieth century did not recognize God's awesome work. "Look among the nations and watch -- be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you" (Habakkuk 1:5). Though it has been told, the Bible reveals they (the nations and most in the last era of church prophecy) would not believe God's awesome work. "But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our report?" (Romans 10:16).

Both the Apostle Paul and the Apostle John understood Bible prophecy revealing (that throughout the history of mankind) the majority of human beings would not believe God's true gospel message. "But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: Lord who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" (John 12:37-38)

Jesus Christ says, we can know God's work by discerning the fruit. "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit, a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them" (Matthew 7:15-20).
