When our Saviour lived on the earth, He was a Jew (who was, and now is, the Great Revelator of knowledge) and He said to the Samaritan woman: "You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22). Jesus Christ said, "You worship what you do not know". Why did Jesus Christ make such a blunt, direct, and bold statement to this Samaritan woman? The reason He spoke that saying with authority is to illustrate the point, that the whole world is deceived like she was, about the true worship of God's New Covenant.
What a wonderful love-gift God has given to His Church! It truly is a tremendous love-gift, to know and understand the Headline News before it happens. "Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know? And former times, that we may say, He is righteous? Surely there is no one who shows, surely there is no one who declares, surely there is no one who hears your words" (Isaiah 41:26).
The Prophet Isaiah (who was taught in God's School of Journalism) is revealing to man's school of journalism that they are limited only to reporting the news as it unfolds - not before it happens. Isaiah shows that only God's Church can give good tidings - which means good news. "The first time I said to Zion, look, there they are! And I will give to Jerusalem one who brings good tidings" (Isaiah 41:27).
Notice what good news Isaiah gives. It is the BIG Headline News about the firstfruits of God's Church. He reports, "The first time I said to Zion, look, there they are!". This statement represents, all the firstfruits who will be born into God's family. They are made up from both the Old and New Testaments. The total number of the firstfruits is 144,000 who will become the Bride of Christ. They will rule with Christ as Kings and Priests in the wonderful World Tomorrow.
In the Psalms King David also wrote about this good news. "The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me; Behold, O Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia: This one was born there. And of Zion it will be said, This one and that one were born in her; And the Most High Himself shall establish her. The Lord will record, when He registers the peoples; This one was born there" (Psalm 87:2-6). In this Psalm, David is reporting the good news, that the firstfruits are taken from all the families of the earth.
Also the Apostle John was inspired to see this vision and write this glorious revelation of good news. "Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile, for they are without fault before the throne of God" (Revelation 14:1-5).
Remember, Zion is God's Church. Therefore, good tidings can only proceed from the one true Church of God. God's Church says to Jerusalem - though now you are called Sodom and Egypt, truly, as the Lord our God lives, you will become the city of truth and peace. "Thus says the Lord: I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain. Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand because of great age. The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets" (Zechariah 8:3-5).

The Church of God exists on this earth, but it is not of this world. Remember, the world means, what mankind has built on this earth under the influence of Satan the Devil. Therefore, Isaiah says, this world's newscasters and counsellors have no words they can declare before the news occurs. They are only limited to reporting the news as it unfolds before them. "For I looked, and there was no man; I looked among them, but there was no counsellor, who, when I asked of them, could answer a word. Indeed they are all worthless; their works are nothing; their molded images are wind and confusion" (Isaiah 41:28-29). Isaiah reported, "They are all worthless". This "they" means the "world's ways."
Now seriously think about this! The world's ways did not start until God had sentenced Adam and Eve. They were sentenced because of their disobedience. What would be their sentence? Their sentence was: they would be cut off from God, and then God had them removed from His Garden of Eden. It was not very long after the removal of man from Eden, that this "world's ways" became so worthless, that God had to destroy it with a worldwide flood.
Shortly after Noah leaves the Ark, mankind again starts its world's ways in a plain in the land of Shinar. Here in this land, they built themselves a city. Also in this city they began working on building a high tower. Again, God had to intervene. The Lord would now confuse their language and scatter them over the face of the earth. With the intervention of God, they ceased building their high tower. And they called the city Babel, which means confusion.
The world's ways simply means all this world's institutions, such as: its governmental systems, educational systems, religious systems, business and financial systems, are totally worthless. In other words, all the world's ways are like a Babylon of Confusion. And this Babylon of Confusion is still carnally-minded (which means - having enmity or hostility), against God's true reporters as Isaiah said: "Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" (Isaiah 53:1).
None (who are of this world's ways of Babylon), will accept the true report from God's true reporters. Again, like Isaiah stated: "Who has believed our report?". The only reporters throughout the history of mankind, to report on the "arm of the Lord" (which means - God using His power to fulfill His purpose), have been God's faithful servants. And the greatest Reporter of them all to report this revealing power, was Jesus Christ.
